چکیده مقاله

Unprecedented advances in the field of artificial intelligence have brought about remarkable developments in various aspects of human life, especially in the field of internal security, which is one of the most important areas for the use of this technology. This technology, by utilizing its advanced capabilities in identifying, analyzing, predicting, and dealing with risks, has significantly increased the capabilities of security institutions. Thanks to artificial intelligence, security systems are able to process a huge volume of data with high speed and accuracy, which leads to faster detection of risks and more effective response to them. However, the use of AI in the field of homeland security also brings with it significant legal challenges. These challenges include issues related to protecting individual privacy, determining liability in the event of error or abuse, the risks of algorithmic discrimination, and cybersecurity risks. This article comprehensively examines these challenges and attempts to provide practical solutions for the safe, efficient, and responsible use of AI in the field of homeland security, and in this regard, special emphasis is placed on the need to formulate appropriate and transparent legal regulations, train and develop human resources specialized in the field of AI, and strengthen international cooperation to confront global risks. Therefore, the present study attempts to provide comprehensive and practical insight to help improve security processes and reduce legal and ethical risks associated with the use of AI, and pave the way for the effective use of this new technology in the field of risk management in homeland security.
